NEW PROJECT

After looking for the perfect apartment here in Oslo for the past few months, we finally found it! We’re taking it over the first week in January, and I can’t wait to start renovating the place. This has been the longest gap for me, in terms of renovating and designing a property (the last proper place, was our house back in London), so I’m literally itching to get the process started…

The property is a 3-bedroom corner apartment on the west-side of the city in an area called Frogner (which is actually where we’re living now, so it will be a very short move for us). The building is from 1893, with lots of original features and high ceilings. It’s pretty much a full make-over, with a few walls coming down, new kitchen, new bathroom, new flooring… My plan is to keep as much original as possible, and bring lots of warmth and natural tones and textures into the space. Here is a little sneak peek from my mood board, and I will of course keep you in the loop a long the way! I’ll also be starting a new interiors Instagram account very soon, so I can take you behind the scenes with all the renovation, so stay tuned for that too!

On another note, I haven’t forgotten about a home tour from where we’re living right now, and although it wasn’t our own renovation project, I did decorate and style the place, so I promise I will share it in the next few weeks!
