To my readers that have been following we for a while, you might remember my wish list for this particular rug from Urban Outfitters a while back. Well finally, it’s mine! And it’s even nicer in real life! The overall colour palette of our flat is relatively muted with a neutral colour palette. I guess I do the same with interiors as I do with my outfits; keep the overall base colours neutral, and play on statement and colourful accessories.
This rug really makes our living room, and I love the contrast of graphic monochrome, sanded wood and chrome legs. More interior sneek peeks to come!

What a beautiful rug, Urban Outfitters have some great and fairly reasonable homeware pieces. I can’t wait to see more sneak pics of your new home, my boyfriend and I will be buying our first house together this Summer so I’m making a mental note of all inspirational images.

hi. may i ask you if you folded the rug to get that size. the rug in the uo online shop looks twice of the size (152 x 213). i love the rug but i need it in the size you have. is it no problem to make it smaller, did you sew it? or was it available smaller some time ago?
