Wish List: Selected Femme Blazer

May 10, 2012
Selected-Femme-blazer-11

This blazer from Selected Femme (£97) is very high up on my wish list at the moment. Granted, I have about 10 different blazers; I don’t own anything like this electric blue style. It’s the perfect quality with a linen/viscose mix, and a nice shape for the summer – I can see myself wearing this similarly to the model above; with tailored shorts, a soft, feminine top with some black sandals – or heels for a more dressy look.

Get it from here.

Hi Anneli, can you help? I love the layered look but can’t seem to get it together, IE tops and bras that you can see underneath. I’m 34C, is that too big to wear the CK triangle bra? If so, what do you suggest I buy in  tops etc. to get ‘the look’.  You seem to do it so well…can you advise?

      Hi Lizzy,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you – I totally missed this comment! I am a 34B and the CK bra fits me perfectly. It depends on how you like your bras or what you are used to. I have never liked padded bras and prefer the more ‘natural’ look if you like.

Choose thin viscose and silky materials for the layered look. Nudes, grey’s and white’s are nice to layer. For a more ‘trend’ look, wear a neon coloured bra underneath a sheer top.

The trick is to always compensate with more covered bottoms and jackets, when wearing sheer tops. Hope this helps!
