Ok, so I am on this trend again. You guys might recall this outfit post a few weeks back, wearing my new Nike Free Run together with a ‘normal’ outfit (not for gym or commuting). I got some nice comments, and not so positive (which I enjoyed reading nevertheless!). I love your feedback and comments; what I think works, might not work for someone else – and I don’t shy away from hearing it!
Anyways, back to these Nike Free Run trainers. Yes, as stated in the name, they are technically trainers made for running. But I have fallen in love with the style and colour, and think they work for everyday use as well – always teamed with some kind of leather, be it trousers, fringe or a patent skirt.
Tip: Make sure to add on some key accessories such as a statement necklace, clutch or oversized earrings/bangles. Adding on those extra elements will make this outfit what it is (and hopefully not just for commuting) – which I agree, can be a very fine line.
Nike Free Run trainers in neon or black, from £81.
I love this style! the look and the feeling of it!
Just checked out your post where you tried out the first outfit with the nikes. I didn’t love how you styled it all the way, but you got some great inspiration here and will figure it out.
I got the black and white ones, but want to get some more colorful ones for the summer. They just look so cool with tan legs!
Hey!
I’ve got some ideas in mind how to style this differently – definitely not with black tights this time (although it’s too cold to go without at the moment with this horrible London weather!)
The neon ones are fab, I want pink ones next!
Ax
I love this style, that’s why I bought some, too!I’m already dreaming about a new pair in different colors……
I love this style! And I might steal it for commuting purposes – I hate seeing gorgeous outfits with horrible sneakers and the Nike Free Runs are a gorgeous sneaker. Great styling :-).
Thanks, and I totally agree! x
Love these! I think you’re right that it works better without tights xx
