WEEKLY TOP 5: BARDOT TOPS

WEEKLY TOP 5: BARDOT TOPS

I don´t know what it is, but I am obsessed with bardot tops at the moment, in all shapes, styles and colours. I´ve always preferred tops with sleeves, so this option of showing a bit of neckline for summer, yet keeping the overall look loose, soft and at times bohemian, is music to my ears. In other words, I want them all. Here are my favourites ones right now…

1. RIVER ISLAND KHAKI BARDOT TOP

I´ve always loved the colour khaki, especially for summer with a tan. Such a classic and chic combo. This silky and soft bardot top from River Island is the ultimate day-to-night piece; pair it with distressed denim during the day, and come night, jump into a leather skirt or some black skinny jeans.

2. SEE YOU NEVER DENIM FLUTED BARDOT TOP

This is one of my favourites. I love the simple boho feel of this See You Never Denim white linen top – this is definitely a classic investment, and again, so easy to throw on with everything from skirts, shorts, skinnies and boyfriend jeans. I love it.

3. LAVISH ALISH MONOCHROME TIE SLEEVE BARDOT TOP

A more classy version; this ultra chic monochrome Lavish Alish top is a great alternative for more elegant occasions and any upcoming summer events you might have. Pair this statement piece with some wide black culottes, a silky black midi skirt or some leather skinnies, for an elegant, yet modern look.

4. TOPSHOP STRUCTURED BARDOT TOP

Bright orange coral is always a summer winner, enhancing that sun kissed glow. I adore this particular cropped style from Topshop and can see myself wearing this a lot on all my upcoming holidays! Such an easy piece to throw on, adding a fresh pop of colour to your outfit.

5. KAREN MILLEN BRODERIE OFF-THE-SHOULDER TOP

It was love at first sight with this top… The combination of the bohemian broderie, mixed with the classic black, makes this Karen Millen top such a versatile piece. So far I´ve worn it with everything from denim shorts, to black denim and leather. The best part? It´s a transitional style for all seasons.
