Wedding Series: Make-Up

Wedding Series: Make-Up

I´ve had a lot of messages and questions about my make-up for the wedding – so here goes! As mentioned in this previous post, I went to the Bobbi Brown make-up counter in Liberty´s for a wedding make-up trial. There we discussed what look I was after, alongside what colours I liked and what would work best for my complexion, colour of the dress, weather, etc. I can’t even begin to tell you how useful this was! My make-up artists created a beautiful look, of which everything she used was written down, alongside step-by-step instruction for the big day. It made everything so much easier.

The Look: I was after natural and glowing make-up, with focus on the eyes and softer lips. Warm and golden tones with a touch of soft pink.

Product Overview

The Base: Hydrating Eye Cream, Hydrating Face Cream (works as a primer too), Hydrating Face Toner & Soothing Cleansing Oil – all from here.

The Result

I couldn´t have been happier with the end result! It was beautiful; polished, yet natural. The make-up lasted all day (with much help from the face cream primer), with no smudges or marks (even in 30 degrees heat!).

Thank you Bobbi Brown for helping me feel that extra special on the big day!

Terrific post. So does this mean they showed you how to do your makeup and then you did it yourself on The Big Day? Or did a makeup artist do it for you? Looks fabulous!

Hi Flick – thank you! They showed me how to do my make-up, gave me notes and instructions, and I did it myself together with my sister who has make-up experience :)
