WANDERLUST IN CYPRUS | PART TWO

Following an adventure fuelled day of exploring Paphos with EMU Australia, visiting ancient monasteries, waterfall, magical monuments, hidden beaches and Aphrodite´s Rock (see part one of my travel diary here) – the rest of our trip was a bit more slow paced, taking in all the ancient beauty, lazy days at the beach and some more infinity pool action at Almyra Hotel…

A bit of morning culture on day 3 of our trip, visiting the Roman mosaics, and the remnants of the ancient villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs – reminding me of the archaeological parts in Rome. Stunning.

Another scorching day in Paphos – slipping into my favourite off-the-shoulder top, denim shorts, and sun hat (a holiday-must), and a pair of super chic EMU sliders.

You can just imagine the grandeur and how it used to look like…

After our cultural morning, we jumped in a taxi to Corallia Beach, for some lunch and catching the afternoon rays.

Freshly caught sea bass of the day – grilled with lemon, parsley and oil. What more do you want?

Love at first sight with these EMU sandals. I love the gold/nude colour, which looks great with a tan, as well as being the perfect day-to-night footwear; looking equally as chic with denim shorts, as well as dresses.

Oversized tunics or lightweight jumper is the perfect piece jumping into when you´ve had a bit too much sun and need to cover up. We stayed at beach until the early evening (my favourite time of the day), where the rays where warm, but a welcoming breeze was setting in…

This infinity pool though… Looking even more magical, when all the crowds where gone, and the sun was slowly setting.

Another evening, another night on top of the rooftop – celebrating an amazing trip, great company and moments to cherish forever.

Keeping it casual on our last evening in Paphos – with simple white denim shorts, a black off-the shoulder top, a pair of classic black EMU sandals, together with a silk statement scarf; adding a bit of luxe and colour, to an otherwise neutral look.

Never want to leave this place…

A final breakfast, sampling the fresh Greek Yoghurt, with local honey, dried figs and seeds. Perfect start to our long day of travelling ahead.

Keeping it casual on the last day – wearing yet another off-the-shoulder top (can you sense I´m a fan?), with denim shorts and tan sandals. After brekkie, we hit the pool to lap up the last hours of sunshine before heading to the airport.
