TWO KEY LOOKS FOR COMFORT CHIC

TWO KEY LOOKS FOR COMFORT CHIC

FITFLOP (9 of 14)

I’m sure I’ve just totally made up the phrase ‘comfort chic’, but it basically sums me up in a nut shell. Always striving to be comfortable, yet still trying to look slightly chic (if that’s even possible, with a one-year old in tow). Nevertheless, the intention is there most of the time anyways – especially during the weekend, when daddy day care kicks in, and I have a bit more time on my hands! I find Autumn a great month for a new wardrobe re-vamp; I’m so over denim shorts and sandals, and all I want is comfortable boots, cosy coats and layering of knitwear. November is also one of the best months for shopping, with so many amazing Black Friday deals to be had. So here I’ve pulled together two of my go-to looks, featuring some of my favourite (and most comfortable) footwear on sale right now.

As I’m pretty much always on the go, my footwear choice always has to be comfortable and easy (I tend to rather dress up other elements of my outfit first) – hence why I’m so excited to have teamed up with FitFlop, who has definitely nailed the comfort element, yet still offering styles which are sophisticated and classic for that everyday look.

These gorgeous suede and faux-fur zip-up ankle boots are the perfect classic investment for the season – not to mention they’re so nice and cosy to wear, with the fluffy and super soft faux fur lining. Being black, they literally go with everything – be it your workout leggings, jeans or leather pants. Here I’ve teamed them with my favourite coated pants and a classic camel coat, a typical and trusted look of mine.

You all know I love an all-black outfit. It’s definitely something I always feel good in – but as to not look too plain and boring, I tend to add elements of different textures and edgy details to the outfit. Here I have combined my go-to faux fur coat with leather look pants, together with these amazing leather ankle boots from FitFlop, with a chunky chain on the top.

Everyone needs a bit of edge in their wardrobe, and I personally always try to add it via my accessories (rather than the main look) – hence why these boots are the perfect addition to my new season wardrobe. Not to mention, they’re again, oh-so comfortable and will basically go with my entire wardrobe!

Cosy, comfortable and chic. All the perfect ingredients in my book.
