THE SARTORIAL BALANCE GAME

THE SARTORIAL BALANCE GAME

You now I´m all about contrasts when it comes to my personal style. Never too girly or feminine, never too masculine or edgy – a balance of the both, takes me straight to my sartorial comfort zone. And in the end of the day, it´s all about being comfortable and feeling good in what you’re wearing right. Because if you don´t, what´s really the point? We all know by now, that one always tends to look better in an outfit, if one really owns it – right?

This outfit did admittedly take me a bit out of my comfort zone initially. I have a relatively simple and relaxed style, but every now and again it´s nice to make bit more of an effort. And with that, I mean wear some heels, get my hair and make-up done, add some tailored slacks, some faux fur and the prettiest blouse you ever did see… Which in the end, turned out to be something I felt really good in.

I mean, this blouse is utter perfection, right? Not just one bow, but a whole arm full of them! And on top of that, it´s an off-the-shoulder top (my favourite). Reverting back to balancing out an outfit; with this one, I paired the overly feminine blouse, keeping the rest of the outfit in edgy black, with the boyish faux fur bomber, and the wide-legged tuxedo pants.
