Another reason for moving away from my previous blog name and concept, What I Bought Today, is that with getting older, I have also been getting a lot wiser with my shopping. Gone are the days of mindless and spontaneous purchases; I am now more conscious then ever when it comes to what goes in my closet. It´s quality over quantity every time, and I am always seeking for versatile pieces which slot straight into my existing wardrobe and personal style.
Although I´ve cut down a lot on my shopping habits, I do have a few weaknesses that you might be aware of; one of them being black heeled booties. One of the reasons I can justify yet another pair of boots to add to my shoe collection, is that I literally wear them all the time. My latest purchase? The Swing booties from Carvela Kurt Geiger. They´re the perfect height and style for the winter season, and the ideal shoes to take you from day-to-night. I am a sucker for both a suede and slim fitted boot; that, combined with the super chic gold details and a versatile fit and style, make these babies the ideal buy (which will pretty much last me forever if I treat them well). A successful investment, in other words.
