Lace is always a good idea – particularly in the summer, and surprisingly in black. It´s feminine, yet edgy, and works throughout the seasons (and just turned out to be the perfect evening outfit whilst on holiday a few weeks back)…
One thing I wish the UK had a bit more of, is consistent summer weather, where the likes of dresses, jumpsuits, skirts and sandals are more of a frequency. So far, it´s been quite of a hit and miss, so luckily for me, I´ve had lots of lovely holidays (and more to come), so I can actually wear all my new bits.
It´s all about the details, and this gorgeous jumpsuit from H&M (similar here and here) which I picked up at a bargain price in Spain (£35, reduced from £80!) – looks so luxurious and expensive, and I love all the intricate elements – with the open back, wide culotte legs and sheer lace sleeves… I never thought I could pull this style off, especially not culottes – but this style really surprised me, which I think might have something to do with the cinched-in waist – which overall balances the width of the legs… What do you think?
It´s been a year since I got this perfect Chanel cross-body bag for my birthday – which has proven to be one of my best present to date. You just can´t go wrong with a classic investment.
Now, come on London – show us some sun!
