SUMMER BASICS

Although it´s less than 2 days until I´ll be on my way to the Maldives, where my wardrobe will no doubt consists of feather light tunics and no shoes for the coming 10 days – my current summer basics consists of light denim, soft cotton off-the shoulder top´s and comfortable midi heels. The perfect outfit for an on-the-go city look…

I am still living in one of my favourite jeans of the season – so comfortable and easy to wear – from fitted sweaters, tucked in silk blouses, bardot tops… I love the straight leg fit, with the medium high waist – which just happens to be the perfect style for my body shape.

My black woven tote bag from Meli Melo is a forever classic and makes a welcoming change from my smaller cross-body bags (meaning; I can fit so much more in it!).

Once I find something I love, I easily become a repeat offender by wearing it over, and over again. Like with these perfect black leather mules – which have quickly replaced my flat sandals this summer. I love the subtle height and the ease of just throwing them on with just about any outfit.

…and there´s no news that off-the-shoulder tops have been at the top of my list this summer. This two-tone version is one of my favourites so far.

All in all, summer basics at it´s best.
