SUEDE

I love suede. No, I really LOVE suede. Its one of those materials which can just add such an exclusive element to your look. 

When it comes to leather jackets and boots, I have more than my fair share of smooth and shiny leather – but not enough suede (to my liking). Sure, suede isn’t always the most practical of materials, but then when is ever anything really beautiful, practical… When investing in suede, go for the real deal (or nothing at all); good quality leather nearly always surpasses the test of time, and only gets better year by year.

My recent suede investments? This killer biker jacket from Danish brand, Gestuz, which is just the shape and style I was after. Brown is not actually a colour I particularly go for for, or have a lot of in my wardrobe – but the shade of brown with the silver details, made this such an irresistible investment (and the fact that its nothing like I already have in my wardrobe, is always a bonus). My second investment are these super chic suede fringe booties from British brand Ted & Muffy. The heel height is ideal for me; nothing too high, making them the ideal every-day boot, adding that subtle edge and boho look with the fringes.

Moving away from suede, I have also just found these new dreamy boyfriend jeans from Current Elliot (yes, I get just as excited over a pair of jeans, as I do with anything else). Exclusive to Fenwick of Bond Street, these are the perfect fit, which look just as good with a pair of boots, as they will with some loafers or slinky heels.
