Stripes have always been a key part of my wardrobe, all year round. From nautical navy, slim pinstripe or bold statement stripes – I have it all. My classic breton tops are a definite go-to of mine, but recently I´ve started to experiment with a bit more playful and fun styles. I mean, if you´re gonna go bold, why not go the whole way? (Just keep the rest of the outfit casual and cool, and you’re sorted).
This jacket from Isabel Marant Étoile (on sale here and here) is definitely a statement piece in it´s own right. I love the more playful twist on a classic piece. Knitted, with a detachable waist belt, it´s the perfect mix of feminine and masculine. In other words, my idea of heaven. Not to mention it´s a great transitional piece to take me throughout the seasons; as well as being a definite festival staple this summer, paired with a pair of skinnies or denim cut-offs.
Yes, I´m very into Marant this season (!), and her leather Bart trainers are eveything. I´ve worn my classic adidas Stan Smith to death, and really wanted to invest in a new, fresh style for summer. I love the more feminine approach to the white trainer, with the softer, slim-line shape and pop of yellow.
You just can´t have enough of black jeans, and this more loose fitted style from Wood Wood, are my current wardrobe winners.
I´m sure you’re fed up with me banging on about my Gucci bag and Celiné sunnies by now – but what a good buy they were! Pricey, yes – but I´ve definitely had my fare share of wear out of them both, which to me, totally justifies the investment.
I styled the jacket with very relaxed components – with the addition of some luxe accessories, to make it more modern. What do you think stripes – YAY or NAY?

Hi! Great look! What size did you take in the Bart sneaker? Im also wondering if they run big/small?
Do they fit different than the Stan Smith?
Thanks so much!!

They run a bit small I think, so I went one size up in these actually! Ax
