SPARKLY BLUE

December 16, 2015

Mexico seems a long way away, being back in chilly London, with my golden tan fading away by the day, whilst planning ahead for Christmas celebrations in Norway. In between moving house and getting settled back into normality, I´m looking back on one of my favourite outfits from the trip… (I´m also working on my three-part blog series from my Mexican adventure – watch this space!).

I wore this dream of a dress from Needle and Thread, together with my trusted metallic Jimmy Choo´s, and my favourite navy clutch from YSL, to my best friend´s wedding in Merida. It was a beautiful and hot day, so it was tempting to throw on something strapless and more lightweight – but the dress was too special not to have an outing. I love the intricate details with the embroidered sparkles, the gorgeous colour with the many shades of blue and the feminine shape; and although I picked up this dress from the winter collection – it´s proven to be versatile for the summer season too – in other words, worth every penny.

Oh, and you might have noticed my new, darker mane (courtesy of Sassoon Salons). I really felt the need of change and a re-fresh for the winter season; I love the natural shade of chocolate brown, which my hairdresser colour matched to my roots. Hope you like it too!
