Jacket: Zara (£169) / T-shirt: Vintage / Jeans: J Brand (similar here) / Sunglasses: Lindex

I had no immediate intention to buy another leather jacket, but this beauty was far too gorgeous to resist… And even though I have quite a large jacket (and leather) collection – I don’t actually own a black biker version. I have been looking for the perfect one for quite some time now – and after seeing various ones I’ve wanted (sadly, Balenciaga, Burberry Prorsum, YSL and Joseph – aren’t quite within my price bracket) – I think I might have found it.

Made from super soft leather, quilted arms, silver buckle detailing – this one from Zara certainly fits the brief, and will just get better with age…

Hi, I’ve been looking to buy this as well but can only do so online so could you be kind enough to tell me what the sizing is like?

      Hi Jane,

The size is pretty normal, maybe slightly big in size. Obviously, it all depends on how you would like the fit; I got mine in a size 8 as I wanted it as tight as possible, and it’s not overly small, rather slightly loose on the arms.

      Hope that helps!

I just responded to another reader below – it’s pretty normal in the size, maybe slightly bigger than normal (all depending on how you want it to fit!).

I have the exact same jacket and am facing the exact same problem- I wish the lapels were more pinned back. How exactly did your mum do it? Your jacket looks perfect!

So annoying! She carefully hand stitched a loop inbetween; it’s worked quite well!

Leather jackets are not necessarily this seasons must. most women look best in a nice short leather blazer. You wont look like a biker at all and you can wear it every year and always look.
