After a beautiful weekend at Soho Farmhouse in the English countryside for my husband´s 30th birthday – I am preparing for part two of his celebrations with a trip to Paris this weekend, one of our favourite cities. For the last four years we have been going once a year, both craving that Parisian flair (and Sam brushing up on his French, being half Parisian). We have our routine every time in terms of places to eat, drink, shop and explore, with a couple of new additions each time (check out my Paris city guide on Sustain the Glow here). It´s so easy to just jump on the Eurostar and being in the city of love in just over two hours, but the thing I always struggle with the most whenever, and wherever the destination, is the packing.
For someone who is very organised and love planning, I always start the packing at the very last minute. But having travelled so much this year, I am definitely getting better, and conjured up a few fail-safe essentials – from the perfect skinny jeans, the classic parka, the black booties, minimal knits, statement flats, a day-to-night skirt…and more. Here is the look I am going for this weekend, with some of my favourite high street buys right now!
Navy Jumper
Printed Skirt
Pom Pom Beanie
Khaki Parka
Lace Up Flats
Metallic Jumper
Skinny Jeans
Sleeveless Coat
Metal Heeled Booties
Thank you for the great article! I love your packing ideas and the way you think about everything. I learned a lot of useful tips from you. Best regards
