I decided recently I was getting tired of my dull (slightly sun-bleached from 6 months ago) – so after some consideration (yes, us girls really need to think so much about these kinds of things), I decided to brighten and soften it a bit… If you’ve followed WIBT for a while, you might have picked up my constant change from dark to light (to even lighter). I decided to go darker with Sassoon right before my wedding (see my progress post here). It was perfect for the big day, and I wouldn’t of had it any other way.
When that said, my hair condition and colour took a bit of toll on our month long honeymoon to Sydney, Fiji and Hong Kong – and since then I haven’t done any more colour or lightening (strict advice from my hairdresser). That was 6 months ago, and in this dark and miserable weather, I fancied a little change to the lighter side! In comes my amazing colourist Neville at Sassoon (South Molton Street branch in London) to rescue. To not add too much colour and bleach to my hair, he did a soft balayage on my ends, finishing off with a trim and intensive protein mask.
It feels so soft and fresh, and I love the darker roots. What do you think?
