Nike Free Run

Nike Free Run

Shoes: Nike / Coat: J.Crew / Skirt: Zara / Top: Zara / Bag: YSL (smaller version here) / Tights: Falke / Earrings: JunesJewelry / Watch: Michael Kors

My love for Nike Free Run is getting stronger (my first pair acquired in this post) – and I’m definitely getting used to wearing them in an outfit (and not for actual running) – like today, when I wore them with my leather skirt and a smart coat. I also think they should be as bright as possible, in fear of them looking too much of a boring trainer. So, now I want to hear your honest opinion on this trend – does it work, can I pull this off??

I really like it and agree with the brighter the better theory!

Not too keen on this look. Looks as though you are a commuter and going to change into heels when you get into the office

I was unsure at first as well, now I’m kind of obsessed with the look! Thanks for your honest feedback though :)

Not too keen on this look. It feels as though you are a commuter and going to be changing into heels when you get to work. You normally get it so right

These shouldn’t work with this outfit but they do, you can’t beat the unexpected!

    Lovely front door colour too.

I have to be honest, as the outfit as whole doesnt look bad, I just dont get why you would wear a pair of specialised running trainers for a pure fashion item? Why not buy a pair of Nike Airmax or hightops??? The freerun were created with ‘running’ in mind….
Anywho…. I think you look sodding gorgeous is pretty much anything!

      Hi Sarah,

I guess they are technically a running trainer, but I am still converted into the drastic contrast with dressed up/fashion wear with real sports elements (especially in bright neon colours) – although I really appreciate your honest comment! :)

On paper this really shouldn’t work, however, when you actually see it as a whole outfit, it definitely does! Will be purchasing a pair for myself! Love it! x
