After spending nearly six months looking for our next project, we finally found our dream home a few months ago, and moving in just in time for Christmas! I am so excited. It´s our first actual house, so a lot more rooms to create, and ideas to collate. Hence my reason for being overly active on Pinterest at the moment – it´s the perfect place for me to gather all my ideas and style inspirations.

As with fashion, I don´t like to follow trends – and when it comes to my interior style, it tends to change depending on whichever style of property we´re in. My new casa has all the period features I love, high ceilings, it´s light and airy, and in effect, a blank canvas. As it´s a lot bigger than anything we´ve ever owned and renovated before (see previous properties here and here), we will be tackling the decoration of each room bit by bit, which I am just so excited about!

Here I´ve gathered some of my favourite inspiration pictures taken from my Pinterest account – a combination of eclectic and minimalistic lines. Enjoy!

LOVE these looks! I’m impressed how you manage to achieve such a polished look. Are you still staying in the Notting Hill area? I visited there for the first time the other day and love it!

Thank you! :) No, we´re moving away from NH, but still West. It´s very nice, but also very busy living so central!

So exciting! A totally unrelated question – I noticed you have a pair of boots from Massimo Dutti, I’m not very familiar with the brand so was wondering if they come up big or small? I’m a 38,5 so always tricky to get it right.. Thanks!

They are pretty normal, but I would go for the 39, as they are quite a narrow style!

    Hi Anneli,

You’ve probably seen it but there is a great armchair in West Elm similar to the one in your reference pic – might be just what you are looking for. Good luck with the renovations!

I had only seen it in leather in store – this one in blush is perfection! Thank you so much Alexis!

    Hi there!

Do you know where those brass square frame/arm lounge chairs are from? Looking for something like that for my own place! :)))
