Well, perhaps no longer my ‘secret’, and I’m sure a few of you might have already discovered this gem of an escape already, hidden in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Mayfair – the House of ELEMIS. You also might have acknowledged my true love for this brand (hence why they asked me to be one of their Brand Ambassadors this year!) – so there is so surprise perhaps that I am a big fan of their London spa too, which has been one of my number one go-to pampering destinations during my pregnancy. And especially now, with only weeks to go – I am more than ever in need of some downtime/me-time.

There are a lot of components making this one of my favourite spa destinations in London. Firstly, how incredible central it is, yet entirely tucked away from all the noise and mounds of people just seconds away. I love the energy being in the city, but sometimes, a much needed escape is just what one needs for some clarity and headspace. Then of course, I love the array of treatments they have on offer with the incredible skilled therapists on hand. Having been a loyal customer for nearly four years, I have my core go-to favourites when it comes to treatments; and naturally since becoming pregnant, I’ve added a few more to my list. So I thought I would share with you a recent trip to this very private spa, with all my usual go-to bookings.

For such a small and neat location – the spa is a lot bigger than it seems, housing an entire tall mews house, with the Speed Spa, the Penthouse and various treatment rooms. I was booked in for my usual Express Mani & Pedi and HD Brows in the Speed Spa – followed by the Peaceful Pregnancy Face & Body Experience

After a few minutes wait, I get escorted downstairs to the Speed Spa, for my nails and brows…

Decisions, decisions.

After my Express Manicure and Pedicure – I jump in the seat for my HD Brows – which is the ideal instant brow lift, with mapping, waxing, dying and shaping. I have made it a priority to pop by every 4-5 weeks to get this done, and my brows have never looked better. If you’re short for time, they also offer HD Brows Express, for a quick tidy up and shape.

After my brows, I head up to the pregnancy treatment room (the House currently only have one treatment room for their very popular pregnancy treatments, so get in there fast and early!). This small, yet cozy and tranquil room has been my ultimate relaxing safe heaven for the past few months. With the softest mattress on the floor, with heated towels, blankets and mounds of pillows to keep you all snuggly and propped up on the back – you sink in to this cocoon, whilst being massaged and pampered on your side – followed by an ultra nourishing facial, choosing between the Pro-Collagen Lift & Contour or the Superfood Pro-Radiance (I love them both and tend to alternate depending on my skin’s needs).

2 hours and 15 minutes later – I reluctantly escape my little cocoon – feeling so fresh, relaxed, energised and most importantly, incredibly nurtured. I swear, I never appreciated pampering quite this much since becoming pregnant – and I truly make the most out of every minute!

After the treatments, I finish off my spa day with some warming tea and fresh juice in the reception – getting ready to combat city life once again (a whole lot lighter and a whole lot more relaxed).
