Now, I know a few of you have specifically requested some of the exact recipes I have posted – so I thought I’d share with you some of my faves (although, these are just a few of the many I like – but definitely my go-to recipes). I have adapted the juices after flavours I like, and particular vitamins I need (I don’t eat meat and suffer from low iron deficiency – so I need more protein and magnesium rich foods, as an example) – these can (and should) be slightly tailored to your own preferences and needs.
TOOLS
– Philips Whole Fruit Juicer, £69.99 (good, easy to clean – does the job!)
– I used to use this Philips blender (£35) and although it’s served its purpose with simple (and soft) blending, I wanted something more effective and versatile (for soups, sauces, chopping) – so I’ve recently opted for the legendary and amazing Vitamix (£529.99), which is reflected in the price (review of this particular product to follow in the coming months).
– I like drinking my juices/smoothies in large glass jars with handles (it’s useful with the size, and looks much prettier!). I have these ones from Amazon. Then I just use large plastic straws for my smoothies, and metal straws for the juices (useful protection for your teeth with the more acidic recipes).
TIPS
– For my juices, my must-have’s are either cucumber, celery or spinach (often all of these) to serve as a base for the rest of the juice!
– If you like your smoothies more runny, just add bottled water, coconut water or your preferred nut milk.
– If you want to make your smoothie more of a meal, add a few dollops of coconut yoghurt (I prefer CoYo) and top it op with a sprinkling of seeds, goji berries or raw cacao nibs. So delicious!

Sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
These look really good but the one thing that puts me off is the cost of all the ingredients (not to mention the machine!). I do buy lots of fresh foods but obviously for the juices you need more volume than you’d probably eat, and it does put me off a bit! Still the recipes look good, might see what I can whip up in my blender.
If you’re planning on drinking a juice every day, then of course it adds up over time – however, it’s still a lot cheaper than buying a fresh juice every day (which is why I always try to do it myself). For the machine – there are TONS of alternatives out there, I am just showing you the ones I use (although the juicer I use os one of the most reasonable ones out there). Glad you enjoy the recipes, enjoy!
These recipes seem fantastic—I can’t wait to try these out!
Let me know how you get on! :)
