A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at the beautiful Net-a-Porter HQ offices (it feels like a life time ago since I worked there!), playing dress up with The Outnet to find our fashion week essentials, all shot by the ever inspiring Candice Lake. How lucky am I?
Alongside some other amazing bloggers and influencers, we had all been invited by Naomi Mdudu from The Lifestyle Edit to preview the new collection from The Outnet´s in in-house label, IRIS & INK, and many other top designers.
Prior to the event, I´d selected my favourite picks from the website. My rail was definitely the most minimal (!) of the lot, with lots of denim, knitted textures, wool and silk. Even though it´s fashion week, I never stray away from what I love and feel the most comfortable in. I selected pieces from Stella McCartney, Alexander Wang and IRIS & INK – always favourites from this site.
I love a good gilet – it´s such an easy piece to throw over a knit and a leather jacket, and can so easily transform the overall look! This navy and grey style was a winner in my eyes, paired with the best boyfriend jeans (EVER), a classic grey knit and my trusted black booties.
This shearling gilet was definitely one of my favourite pieces. It´s such a luxe statement piece, yet a classic investment in every way – one that will never go out of style.
In-between shooting and goofing around, we tucked into some seriously healthy and delicious grub and fresh juices.
I swapped the grey jumper to this beautiful blue style and the most incredible (and softest) coat I ever did see from Wang. I loved this look; minimal, yet with the added pops of light colours, combined with those red lips (still not sure I can pull that off though!).
MY TOP LFW BUYS
Discounted AND designer combined, means you need to get in there quick before it goes! These are my top buys from The Outnet right now.
Playing dress up with all your favourite blogger pals is no hardship (to say the least). I feel very blessed to be able to go to these kind of events and do something I love every day!
Thank you to The Outnet, The Lifestyle Edit & Candice Lake for a wonderful afternoon.
