MY BEAUTY SURVIVAL KIT FOR LFW

Long days, little sleep and a jam packed schedule (all while feeling under the weather with a cold), has taken a toll on my skin. As with everything, I always try to plan ahead prior to a busy period; making sure my skin is hydrated by drinking lots of water, regular face masks (and a monthly salon facial), exfoliating, moisturising and layering with targeted skin care that really works. I am a beauty addict, and I am fortunate to test and try a lot of different products with what I do, which means I get the chance to fall in love with lots (and lots) of amazing products and brands. But varying things up and changing your skincare is essential – especially embarking into a new season with contrasting and changeable weather.

Here are some of the products which have been absolute lifesavers for the past two weeks and throughout fashion week…

I am keeping my body silky soft with this Yellow Day Body Lotion by Prismologie (infused with botanical oils, citrine extract and bergamot fragrance to hydrate and awaken)… Moisturising my skin with this Daily Botanical Hair Cream by Phyto 9 – ideal for my dehydrated hair…Obsessing over Anja Rubiks debut fragrance Originals with a scent of wood, amber, floral, green tea and pink pepper (all my favourite things)… Keeping my nails pretty with Nailberry polish – I am particularly loving pale blue and classic nude at the moment… Saving my skin with the Zelens Bio Peel Resurfacing Facial Pads which are insanely amazing; these pre-soaked pads are infused with hydroxyl acids, which helps resurface the skin, reduce lines, scars, dark spots, dullness and enlarged pores (in other word – a must-have!)… One of my current go-to face masks belongs to long-term skincare favourite of mine, Perricone MD. Their face mask, Chloro Plasma, is an anti-aging treatment mask with Chlorophyll, which deeply detoxifies and rejuvenates the skin, adding that glow we’re all in search for… Adding further glow with Studio 1o Youth Lift Glow creme, which primes, adds radiance, illuminates and highlights your skin. I have been blending it together with my daily foundation, which makes my skin look so much more dewy and radiant… Keeping hydrated with this super pretty glass bottle from BKR Plumping and intensely hydrating my skin with this skincare duo from NIOD; I first apply the Copper Amino Isolate Serum, finishing off with the Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex, which combines twelve forms of hyaluronic compounds to plump and hydrate skin. These both target ageing, boosts radiance, evens out the skin tone, minimises the appearance of pores, smoothes out fine lines, supplying anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to which really repairs and replenish skin. And the best part of it? This stuff really works (and worth every penny). I finish off my skincare routine with a daily moisturiser by Suti with Coconut and Roses – which seals my skin with all-day moisture… Then to finish off, I add these Swarowski earrings for some added sparkle!
