MONTHLY FAVOURITES #40

MONTHLY FAVOURITES #40

After missing a few of these over the last two months (for obvious reasons), the Monthly Favourites series is now back! And I have a lot of goodies to share with you guys – from my new fave booties, arm candy, beauty favourites, my go-to skinny pants, and more…

Let’s kick of with my two new cross body bags – the first one is this new mini nude pouch from L.K.Bennett – it’s so tiny, which is both practical (but perhaps not so practical for some). I personally love it, as it just about fits my phone, wallet and keys – which is all I need on a day-to-day basis.

The second bag is another cross body style, with this burgundy patent leather one from Cambridge Satchel, which I also got monogrammed (how pretty?). The style is bigger and a bit roomier, yet still easy and slim enough (which I love).

During the weekends, when Sam takes Rio – I love indulging in a hour long soak in the bath, with Bashail’s Who Loves You 100% natural bath salts and oils – such a healing and detoxifying treat for the body.

I love a scented candle any old day, but especially in the autumn/winter months – particularly in the lead up to Christmas, when all you want to do is snuggle up indoors with seasonal music, candles and mince pies (or is it just me?). My favourite Christmas candle is the Elemis Joyful Glow Candle – a comforting fragrance of creamy Vanilla, Orange and spicy Cinnamon… Heaven.

I also love the EYM Baby Scented Candle – a baby friendly candle that you can burn in front of your baby. This is such a gentle. pure and soothing scent, with Sweet Orange, Camomile & Lavender.

From candles, to jeans – more specifically the NEXT Coated Jeans – which are SO good and SO flattering, that I ended up getting 3 identical black pairs (and one in burgundy). They’re stretchy, slim-fitted and basically look like leather (yet super comfortable) – what more do you want? To see how they fit, check out my Instagram, as I’ve been wearing them on repeat.

I don’t know how I only just discovered the Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Gel Mask, as I am obsessed! It encourages resurfacing of your skin, balances out your sebum levels, and leaves your skin feeling super smooth, radiant and fresh as anything.

I have been using the REN Microalgae Toning Body Oil for the past two weeks, and although it’s a bit early to say if it’s worked yet; the oil itself is stunning – super rich, with the magnesium rich Kelp, and nourishing Omega 6 & 9 Microalgae Oil. My skin feels so soft, refreshed and moisturised.

I have been dying to try out the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil – created by super influencer and blogger Negin Mirsalehi (who just happens to have the most beautiful hair ever). The versatile blend means it can be used daily as a pre-styler and finisher or as an overnight treatment mask. With honey and a natural blend of minerals, vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants – it’s supposed to help retain moisture, shine and nourishment for hydrated and strong locks. I have been using it for over a week, and my hair has never looked more glossy. It’s certainly not cheap, but I have heard that is lasts for ages and really goes a long way, so I am hoping it was a good investment!

I included two of my favourite gel eye masks in this post, and I can now add a new favourite to this list – with Trish McEvoy Instant Solutions Triangle of Light Eye Mask. I need all the eye treatments I can get at the moment, and these pre-soaked eye pads, helps to soothe, plump and brighten, in just five minutes.

I am a sucker for good packaging, and Lebon Organic Toothpaste is definitely the chicest looking toothpaste brand out there! With lots of fresh and natural flavours, this organic toothpaste also includes Certified Organic Aloe Vera and Green Tea to naturally help protect gums and prevent tooth decay, and have a long non-ending “free of” list, including being cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulphate free, fluoride free, titanium dioxide free.

I have to admit, I was initially quite sceptical to the GloPRO Microstimulation Facial Tool – as it just sounded a bit too good to be true… But I have to admit I have had quite good results so far. The tool really helps stimulate the skin’s natural healing response to induce micro-rejuvenation deep within the skin; and my skin has certainly felt more clear and smooth. I use it after cleansing and pre serum, as the tool also makes absorption of your products more intense, which I also think is one of the main reasons why my skin feels so plump after using it.

My new favourite winter boots so far, belongs to & Other Stories – I am obsessed with the straps, which make them really edgy, whilst still looking sophisticated, with the really elegant shape. Such a good buy, and I love how they look so great with skinny jeans, as well as dresses and skirts.

Last but not least, my new go-to t-shirts from Topshop. I am really into statement tees at the moment – and their ‘Amour’ ones this season are so fab. The grey one is a regular fit, and the black one is actually a maternity shape (as they didn’t have the black one in the regular shape). Fortunately they are both quite similar in terms of fit, and I love a loose style anyways; looks so great tucked in with skinny jeans!
