MONTHLY FAVOURITES #31

MONTHLY FAVOURITES #31

December. Officially the most cozy month of the year (FACT). Needless to say, there has been a slight overload in consumption this month; with presents galore, and grabbing some good bargains during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales + some early discount have already started (can you believe that Net-a-Porter has 50% on?! Go go go). Anyways, back to the point of this post… My favourites throughout the month!

I am loving black lace tops at the moment – some of my favourites include this dainty lace version from from Simply Be, this jumper style from ASOS, and this cute short-sleeve piece from JD Williams. (This one pictured is from JD Williams, but already sold out).

If you follow me on Instagram (and Instagram Stories), you would have seen nearly daily sharing´s from my new favourite book “Mastering Your Mean Girl” by Melissa Ambrosini. I am not usually one for self-help books, but this one is something else; firstly, it´s super easy to read, straight to the point, and is full of warmth, love and positivity. I think literally every single girl in the world can relate to what´s she saying, and I for one, cannot recommend it enough.

Naturally, it was love at first sight with this ´Girls` logo jumper from GANT Rugger. In a soft wool and cotton blend, I love the ´college sweat` interpretation in the shape of a knit. A slouchy fit (stay your size or go down one); it looks great with skinny jeans and booties, or go super casual with some white kicks.  Either way, it´s a winner.

Looking for the perfect black suede ankle boots, but don´t want to break the bank? I recently picked up the ASOS Retsella Boots, and have been pretty much been wearing them every day (but hurry, they’re selling out fast!).

I picked up these high-rise jeans from American Eagle Outfitters on sale last week, and so far, I am obsessed! They fit perfectly, and they’re such a nice shade of classic denim blue.

Animal print never goes out of style, so when I spotted this dream of a scarf from REISS (similar here on sale) – I know it was a safe investment, and a piece I will own and wear for years to come.

The holidays are all about sleep and relaxation, charging up for the new year ahead. I am loving this lavender infused satin and velvet eye mask from Catherine & Jean. So soothing (and chic!).

To intensify the sleep, I am a long-time fan of NEOM Organics Intensive Sleep Treatment – which is a potent blend of 19 essential oils, created to deeply relax the body and mind for the perfect night’s kip. As it´s pocket size, it´s perfect for on-the-go, or long haul travelling.

I have a new favourite jewellery addition, with this gold plated skinny crystal bangle from Adore – perfect on it´s own, or stackable with other bracelets and a watch. A classic investment piece.

I am obsessed with Yoga at the moment. After our dream holiday to the Maldives in September, where I was practising 2-3 times a day, I have really tried to keep it up. For when I practice at home, I have my yoga mat, and recently invested in this Yoga Belt – which is so incredibly good for stretching and alignment. The best £3.50 I have ever spent!

I have been a big fan of Darphin for a long time, especially their more soothing products form Darphin Intral – a line dedicated to soothe redness, soften, moisturise and calm your complexion (infused with Chamomile).

For ultra soft hair, targeted for a more dry and coloured mane; I am loving this nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner from Windle & Moodie. Ingredients include Rooibos tea (rich in active antioxidants and known to promote hair growth), Argan oil (fortifies and adds shine), green tea and Vitamin C and E (to help repair, strengthen and protect). Free from sulphates, propylene glycol, silicones and parabens (ideal) – it´s also eco-friendly and most of its ingredients are biodegradable. What´s not to love?
