MONTHLY FAVOURITES #29

MONTHLY FAVOURITES #29

There´s definitely a real autumnal chill in the air… Although it arrived a lot later than usual this year, and I´ve been lucky enough to have spent a lot of time abroad lapping up the sun – I´m now finally ready to enter the new season. And these are the bits I cannot live without at the moment…

Sadly, I never got hold of the Gucci loafers. But these near enough identical ones from Massimo Dutti are pretty much perfect aside from the real deal. Super comfortable and will no doubt be one of autumn favourites – worn with midi dresses, skinny jeans and leather pants.

My current beauty must-haves? Aveda´s Dry Shampoo – the perfect pick-me up when my hair is looking a bit flat and lifeless, and an absolute hair care saviour when I´m on the go, after a workout, or while I´m travelling.

With the colder weather, it is even more important to boost the skin with Vitamin C. One of my long-term favourites? Skinceuticals C E Ferulic. It helps improve the appearance of lines, firmness, brightens the skin’s complexion and defends the skin against oxidative stress – so needless to say, an absolute must-have in my skincare routine.

Another current favourite, is Elemental Herbology´s Hyaluronic Booster Plus – again, perfect for this colder and more changeable weather. The serum helps protect skin against moisture loss and helps to plump out fines lines and wrinkles – and revives a dry and dull complexion. Love it!

Last but not least – I am pretty obsessed with my new customised Kitsch make-up pouch (for obvious reasons).

The perfect black dungarees from ASOS – which just happen to be the most flattering fit, and I love how fun they are to style! So far, I´ve worn them with a silk shirt and leather loafers; a fine knit jumper and heels; white leather trainers and a simple blouse; booties and a t-shirts – all pulled together with either a fitted leather biker jacket, khaki jacket or coat. As well as being super comfortable, they’re the perfect style to carry on throughout the season (not to mention, they’re an absolute bargain).

I go in phases with coffee. Some times I really crave it, but often I can go weeks and weeks without a cuppa. But a real good brew of creamy coffee, or a nice hit of an espresso – is always a winner. Especially now we´re moving into the darker and more gloomy months, where that extra boost of energy is needed! So when my husband and I were looking at which coffee machine to invest in (he´s a coffee addict), we finally made our choice with Lavazza´s A Modo Mio Fantasia LM7000 Coffee Machine – which not only looks good (definitely an important factor), but makes damn good, frothy coffees – be it a Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso, Flat white or an Americano (either hot or cold)… So far, it´s been the best investment.

I´ve had so many compliments for these Zara heels (similar here). I´m a big fan of the bold leopard print, as well as the block heel – which make them so much more comfortable and easy to wear. Paired with dresses or skinny jeans; they’re the perfect statement shoes (and you can never go wrong with leopard print)

You might have already spotted my new Gucci bag on my Instagram, as so far, it´s just about the only bag I´ve been using! I´ve worn the tan version to death, so investing in the classic black, was a no brainer. Another great buy (especially if you´re measuring up cost-per-wear!).

Another great Gucci buy, is this classic cashmere and silk blend Gucci scarf. In a dark navy/grey colour, it goes with just about everything I own, and I love the oversized size. It´s my go-to accessory when I travel, and it will no doubt be a winner this coming autumn and winter.

I love round ups like this! I think I actually prefer the style of the Massimo Dutti loafers compared to the real Gucci’s. The dungarees look super cool as well, would love to see them in an outfit post! x
