MAMA, I LOVE YOU

My mama is nothing short of brilliant. She´s kind, warm, caring, beautiful, thoughtful… She´s the one person that inspires me to be a better person, do things more softly, stop stressing, be more patient and appreciate life, every day. 

I don´t know what I would do without her and she deserves everything I can give her – this year is no exception. As my family live in Norway, I don´t have the luxury of seeing her when I want, so when she was over a few weekends ago, I planned something special for her just in time for Mother´s Day…

Although I think you should celebrate your mum every day, it´s always nice to do something extra nice every now and again. I teamed up with The White Company – one of my favourite lifestyle brands and go-to destination for gifts – and pulled out all the stops, surprising her with this beautiful spread, filled with all the things she loves.

Not to forget, a big bunch of white roses (because she´s worth it).

I love this gorgeous glass teapot, which not only looks super pretty, it´s also really practical with a removal coil filter in the spout, keeping all your tea leaves in the pot! I filled it with this aromatic and spicy Lemongrass & Ginger tea from JING – so delicious.

One of the favourite pieces I got was this reversible silver and gold plated heart bracelet. I love that it´s so dainty and feminine, and with the two different coloured metals, I kind of feel it represents the two of us.

My mum is a foodie just like me, but she loves her healthy food too. So I picked up this gorgeous selection of raw treats from Honey & Date (all gluten, dairy and refined sugar free), and a selection of dark chocolate (which were all consumed pretty quickly).

I am a sucker for pretty packaging, so a couple of skincare products from SJAL were the perfect addition to the gift spread.

Last, but not least, a good scented candle. I went for one of White Company´s bestsellers, the Lime & Bay fragrance. With it´s soft tropical garden scent, it´s fresh, yet warming. Definitely a new favourite of mine.
