If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen our renovation process in full swing. As we´ve now moved to a house, there are naturally a lot more rooms to decorate, plan and fill. To not become too overwhelmed by the project, I am working my way through the house bit by bit (I can´t wait to show you all when it´s 100% finished).
You might already be following my home renovation and recent interior buys via my Instagram – where my obsession for brass, marble and crystal continues. Here I´m sharing some of my recent (and favourite) home accessory additions (and where to buy them).
After spending nearly six months looking for our next project, we finally found our dream home a few months ago, and moving in just in time for Christmas! I am so excited. It´s our first actual house, so a lot more rooms to create, and ideas to collate. Hence my reason for being overly active on Pinterest at the moment – it´s the perfect place for me to gather all my ideas and style inspirations.
Aside from fashion, beauty and healthy living – my other passion is interior. Its something I’ve always been into from a very young age – I can remember changing my room around and re-decorate at least once a week.
April is just around the corner (where has the time gone!?) and I am fully immersed in spring cleaning at home! I love this time of year, with the changing of wardrobe, out with the old, in with the new – laying fresh eyes and perspective on my summer styles – re-inventing old classics, and parting ways with some things to make room for new additions.
You all know by now that I am a beauty-holic. Which subsequently explains my long-standing obsession with monthly subscription service Birchbox – where one gets to sample a carefully curated and edited mini versions of a products every month, before deciding to invest in the full-size version! Brilliant concept.
…are for recouping after the weekend, setting plans and making goals for the week ahead (and counting down the days until its Friday again!). No, in all honesty, since going freelance, I am actually enjoying my Mondays a lot more – and I try to make it my office day where I catch up on e-mails and work.
Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend… I have had a busy few days, so today all I want to do is snuggle up in my bed with this amazing new bed linen from Soak & Sleep. It is SO soft and super silky smooth; the best bit is pretty obvious… I am a sucker for anything personalised!
Heres a little sneak peak into my new office… It was important to me that the colours where cool and light, so we painted it in a very light pale blue. The mood is calm and bright – with white modern furniture, some added neon accessories and more rustic touches, to create a more unique and personal space. Hope you like it!
I am a huge fan of gold and marble accents in interior, which we are playing a lot on in our new home. I particularly like it in kitchens and bathrooms; I love the combinations of soft grey with the shiny brass look.
Whilst counting down the weeks until we can move in, here are some of my favourites interior pics – many of which I used when designing our very own kitchen.
As some of you might have picked up on, I am in the midst of renovating our new London home (hence why I am currently based down South with family). Again and the same as last time, its a total renovation project, but on a lot bigger scale. Its super exciting, designing and planning every room – but as you can imagine – a lot of work!
Urban Outfitters Ceramic bowls, £6 each.
Urban Outfitters have the cutest interior section – with their gorgoeus interior and gift department (the latter being a saviour this Christmas). These bowls are so beautiful, and the perfect size if using them in the kitchen (excellent for portion control) so I don’t overreat (which does happen, a lot).
