Smoothies are my thing. I would even go to say they´re one of my favourite things to drink. I just love starting the day with one; as an afternoon snack, pre or post-workout, or even as more “dessert” style version (the BEST). With the right ingredients and additions of superfoods, you can fuel your body with so much goodness – making them the ideal skin and body food!
As my husband is in L.A as we speak for Valentine´s Weekend, we planned an afternoon date up in town last weekend, with a stroll through the streets of Mayfair, ending up with afternoon tea at The Lanesborough, one of London´s most iconic – and beautiful hotels.
I am so excited to share this amazing recipe with you! Without even exaggerating – it’s one of the best (if not the number one) food related discoveries I have ever made! It´s certainly changed my diet completly – I’ve hardly touched real bread since (and haven’t wanted to!). It’s just delicious, and best of all – it’s so good for you! Packed with goodness using whole grains, nuts, and seeds; it’s also super high in protein, rich in fiber, gluten-free and vegan. The best thing about it? It´s SO easy to make!
Now, I know a few of you have specifically requested some of the exact recipes I have posted – so I thought I’d share with you some of my faves (although, these are just a few of the many I like – but definitely my go-to recipes). I have adapted the juices after flavours I like, and particular vitamins I need (I don’t eat meat and suffer from low iron deficiency – so I need more protein and magnesium rich foods, as an example) – these can (and should) be slightly tailored to your own preferences and needs.
