Wedding Series: Vitamin Supplements

For that extra boost leading up to my wedding, I have been using Perricone MD‘s Total Skin & Body supplement range (yes, they pretty much cover everything).

TOTAL SKIN & BODY 

I trialled their 30-day Total Skin & Body programme – which is a perfectly dosed daily programme of nutritional supplements, especially designed to help support a healthy immune system, while enchanting the look of skin. With focus on bone and joint function, stimulating growth of hair and nails, as well as brightening the skin by diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. It´s basically a jam packed vitamin cocktail!

The pack contains B-Vitamin, Vitamin C, Omega 3 fatty acids, copper and magnesium – a perfect blend for improvement of skin, hair, nails, tiredness and fatigue.

Result

As mentioned, I trialled this the month before leading up to the wedding, and it really improved my skin, hair and energy levels in general. Granted, I was trialling a lot of different boost enchancing programmes and products at the same time; but this complete pack of vitamins, meant I knew I was getting all my essential vitamins and supplements in just a few tablets every day – so much easier and more organised than having a load of different bottles.

SUPER BERRY WITH ACAI

You all know I am big fan of smoothies – especially if you follow me on Instagram (annelibush) – in which these Super Berry Acai capsules came in handy in my morning berry based smoothies!

Super Berry Powder with Acai is super high in antioxidants, which basically protects against free radical damage. Its ingredients are a combination of berries including raspberry, blueberry and the amazing super food, Acai – which is packed with vital nutrients, minerals and essential amino and fatty acids. Acai is also known to boost energy and general well being (and it tastes pretty yummy too!).


Result

This superfood is just so amazing, I always feel boosted and my energy levels stay high all day! Having this sachet in my morning berry smoothie kept me going all day and maintained my sugar levels (where as I often get big dips in the afternoon).  I would definitely recommend this to someone who is on the go and wants that extra (and quick) energy boost!

BERRY SMOOTHIE RECIPE 

*Serves 2

1 sachet of Super Berry Acai

2 1/2 cups of frozen berries (a mixture of blueberries, rasberries & strawberries)

1 banana

1/2 avocado

1-2 cups of coconut water (regular water works fine too)

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 tablespoon of flax seeds

1 scoop of Hemp Powder

Options: 1-2 medjool dates to make it a bit sweeter
