Wedding Series: Health, Body & Beauty

Wedding Series: Health, Body & Beauty

Leading up to the wedding – I have been a very lucky girl and with some more free time on my hands, I’ve had proper time to focus on my body and health! Obviously, I really enjoy fitness and healthy food anyways – so I’ve just been stepping up my regular routine – and with the beauty and well-being; well every girl deserves a bit of R&R and pamper time before the big day right?

HEALTH

Getting de-stressed at Elemis with Deep Tissue massages – the gorgeous salon is located in a beautiful mews in Central London (Mayfair) salon – it’s such a tranquil haven from the hustle and bustle of the city! Love my time here.

As always – sticking to a clean and lean diet (semi-vegan – I love my fish!). If you’re interested – make sure you follow my Instagram account (anneliwillis) – where I post a lot about my food and diet (amongst other things).

BODY

I love Pilates! I recently attended a Hot Pilates class (which was a first for me) at Yotopia together with SimplyHealth – and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend it if you love Pilates and don’t mind the heat that much; although I found the heat relatively bearable as I am used to Bikram Yoga, which is a lot hotter.

Other classes I regularly do at my local gym, are: Body Pump, Circuits, Pilates, Spinning & Reformer Pilates. I like to mix up my strength/weights with high intensity cardio, as well as relaxing and toning Pilates/Yoga classes; on a good week I go to the gym 5-6 times (which is notably an intensified amount leading up to wedding).

YUP – I’ve went to the infamous Barry’s Bootcamp (and didn’t pass out!). Kind of loved it actually.

I am such a fitness bunny – my lovely bridesmaids even incorporated it into my hen do in Lisbon a few weeks back!

BEAUTY

Popping into Liberty’s (my favourite London department store) for Bobbi Brown‘s amazing wedding make-up trials (did you know they offer this as a complimentary service?). I had the amazing Michelle and definitely feel more prepared for the big day!

This is the selection Michelle customised for my wedding day – more pictures about the specific product selections and the final result from the big day coming soon!

Going back to my roots at Sassoon Salons – a full review about my time here to follow soon!

Getting my nails done – they’re nail extensions done at a local salon called Serendipity Nails; the nails look great (service, not so much I am afraid). Other than that, I’m happy with natural and nude colour!
