LFW ESSENTIALS

LFW ESSENTIALS

September. The most important month of the fashion industry. The designers are showcasing their new season collections, its the main (and largest) issue for the magazines, and the hard core fashionistas are tuning in to take note of the latest trends.

London Fashion Week is rapidly becoming just as important as Paris and Milan, its one of the main destinations for emerging talent, and many Britis designers are returning to show their collections in the capital. Although I cannot wait to see what Spring/Summer has in store, its always with mixed emotions dreaming of next summer, when we’ve just nearing the end of this one. Luckily, I am am off to Tulum in Mexico at the end of November – so I can take note and start planning what to keep for next summer, what to bin, and what to save for continuous seasons.

There is no doubt about it, fashion week is not as glamorous as it might look! It can be very hectic with a lot of sharp elbows, and little time to stop up. So preparation and organisation in advance is key. I teamed up with Fenwick Bond Street to select my LFW essentials – here is what will be keeping me going this weekend!

I will be staying hydrated with Sibberi Birch Water – which is ideal to boost, cleanse and rejuvinate the body and mind, and jam packed with antioxidants. Taking notes and keeping organised with my Aspinal of London notebook. Touching up my make-up with Bobbi Brown powder & Tom Ford lipstick. Adding a touch of colour to my monochrome outfits with this Ruby & Ed faux fur stole. Staying shady with these statement sunnies from Sunday Somewhere. Snacking on delicious and guilt-free chocolate bars from Raw Halo (and they’re dairy and sugar free! Win win). Adding some glamour with this gorgeous gold cuff from Eddie Borgo. Capturing all my fashion week moments with my trusted Olympus PEN E-PL7. Staying stylish with my new favourite Sophie Hulme suede bag.
