In less than two weeks, I will be in Tulum for some much needed winter sun… I love escaping to warmer climates in the colder months, and I can´t wait to finally go to Mexico – a massive tick on my travel bucket list! We´re going for 10 days for some relaxation and sun, as well as celebrating my best friend´s wedding and business partner over at Sustain the Glow (who´s also made the best Travel Guide to Tulum here.)
September has arrived, which means we can finally come to terms with autumns arrival – which in turn means thicker layers and investing in new wardrobe staples (yay). I for one have my eye on Topshop’s latest AW15 drop, featuring the insanely beautiful Gigi Hahid.
I am all about the skirt this season (and evidently not the only one!). I am going for all lengths, styles and colours – a skirt is one of the most versatile pieces you can invest in your wardrobe; as styled below, it works with everything from a casual and oversized sweater, silk shirt, leather biker, casual t-shirt, blazer – you name it. I have my eyes on a lot of different styles – here are some of my favourite looks!
Its fashion week tomorrow, and here are some of my top-essentials for the next 5 days! Follow me live on Instagram at @annelibush.
I love winter style; anything involving chunky knits, coats and leather boots, makes me happy any day! Its also one of my favourite seasons – mainly because of Christmas, where I am like a little child again – consuming far too much hot chocolate, ginger bread, mulled wine (my guilty pleasure), snuggling in front of the fire and spending too many hours in Liberty than I would like to admit.
Anyone who knows me well knows that I cant ever get enough of scented candles. Long-standing favourites are Diptyque, Voluspa, Malin+Goetz and Byredo – and the scents vary from soft florals, dark rum, fresh cotton and cinnamon… I have difference scents for each room and its what makes a home feel home, in my opinion.
THIS WOMAN. The epitomise of super chic and effortless style. Previous fashion style for Vogue Spain, Barbara Martelo is now a freelance stylist, continuing to collaborate with various publications of the Condé Nast group, as well as El País and Harper’s Bazaar. On top of that, she provides consulting services to various designers and stores. Phew! Inspiring, would be an understatement.
Although I am seriously craving warm, fuzzy coats (as you might have noticed in my previous post), I kind of cant get my mind off the newly released campaign images from two of my all-time favourite designers: Céline and Isabel Marant. Both epitomise confident yet relaxed femininity, which is a look I for one am hugely inspired by.
