…this is the question. But why not merge them both? Which is pretty much my favourite way of dressing anyways; mixing androgyny with feminine frills = the perfect balance. How I do this? Well, it´s all about mixing over-the top and contrasting pieces, balanced out with a few more neutral additions. This outfit, is the perfect example…
…where I´ve teamed my oversized glamour faux fur coat (I call it my ´Gorilla`), with a cute star printed dress – mixed with some masculine, tasselled flat brogues, and my classic statement bag from Saint Laurent – which helps pull the whole look together. Balancing out the feminine textures with the faux fur, fused with the relatively girly dress, and chunky brogues – makes this one of my favourite, go-to looks. Girly, with an edge.
…I am all about my ear bling at the moment, with layers of hoops, cuffs and studs (same goes for my rings, mixing different styles and metals). Here are some of my favourites at the moment… (links at the bottom of the page).
This dream of a bag from Saint Laurent has been the BEST buy. And not once, have I regretted opting for a navy bag. Firstly, I don´t have anything like it in this colour (which is just the dreamiest midnight blue), and then the roomy cross-body shape is so practical and comfortable – not to mention, it adds an element of contrast, to my otherwise neutral sartorial colour palette.
