Festival and chic don’t always go together, especially when it involves several days of camping with wet and muddy weather. Hence why I have never been a big fan of the week-long, hardcore festivals – and tend to go for the smaller, and more boutique style festivals (without the camping) – where dressing up and getting ready is actually fun! Aside from the obvious (and practical) necessities such as a rain mac and wellies (just in case); are the chic biker boots. A sturdy, good quality and fitted style, which goes with everything from a feminine lace dress, skinny jeans and denim shorts – which can really add edge to a look, yet still bring sophistication to the overall outfit.
In comes this perfect style from new, British brand Ted&Muffy, which focuses on good quality leather and soles, and feminine styles with longevity in an array of all sizes; in other words, a great investment. Sure, I have a bit of a soft spot for boots and own far too many than I would like to admit (much more than heels) – yet the joy is always high when I find that perfect style for the upcoming autumn season, and conveniently timed for Festival Number 6 this weekend!
Come rain or shine – I am planning on wearing my trusted biker boots with this exact outfit; the feminine lace dress, the fitted biker jacket, the lux statement bag and casual sunnies. The countdown begins!
