If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen our renovation process in full swing. As we´ve now moved to a house, there are naturally a lot more rooms to decorate, plan and fill. To not become too overwhelmed by the project, I am working my way through the house bit by bit (I can´t wait to show you all when it´s 100% finished).
At the moment I´m decorating the bedroom, filling it up slowly – sourcing everything from all over the world (I am currently waiting for these incredible brass cabinet knobs from the U.S to update our plain white IKEA chest of drawers).
The room is a blank canvas, with a calming colour palette and classic features (always the best starting point). In my opinion, the bedroom should be the most seen serene place to be – a haven away from any chaos or agitation – so I´ll be avoiding any bright colours, keeping within shades of grey, taupe and white.
