My hair has been through quite an ordeal since my last visit to Sassoon Salons in the beginning of May; I have travelled a lot, especially to hot and humid climates, as well as big cities (not exactly a good combo for healthy and glossy hair).
The lovely people at Sassoon Covent Garden managed to fit me in before jetting off to L.A last week – for a cut and toner – the perfect summer hair re-fresh. I initially wanted to go blonder – but combined with too little time, and being worried of how ridiculously dry my hair was – I was sensible (for now), simply opting for an all-over toner in a soft ‘biscuit’ coloured tone. Toner’s are great to add shine and reviving your hair. Although I was pretty happy with my original colour, it was dry and brittle and needed intense nourishment. I also wanted bit of a change, softening the ‘bleach blonde’ shades (sun overload). This toner certainly did the trick, giving my hair a warm and rich caramel colour. Needless to say – a proper chop was in order; I even opted for a long fringe, which I’ve been wanting for ages!
I am so happy with with the colour, shine and cut. Thank you to the team at Sassoon Salon Covent Garden for having me, and for making my hair so fabulous throughout my holiday!
Now – back to London in a few hours! See you on the other side.
