La Roche-Posay Effeclar Duo (+), £15.50

This is my secret wonder cream. During the seasons, I test out various creams depending on the weather – however this is definetely one of the moisturizer’s I keep coming back to. It’s super lightweight with a gel-like consistency, very moisturizing, yet super lightweight.

I’ve always used the regular La Roche-Posay Duo – which is suitable to sensitive skin, eliminates imperfections and unclogging pours, with ant-irritant spring water to reduce redness. It does all that, keeping my skin balanced and clear! I was very excited to hear about their new and updated version: La Roche-Posay Duo (+) – which is an improved version “specifically formulated to target the key signs of oily, blemish-prone skin.” Now, I am pretty fortunate to not suffer from any acne or blemishes – however my skin is sensitive to weather, and I find this cream always refines my skin, controls shine and softens any marks.

I have been testing the new version for over a month now – and it’s equally as wonderful! I haven’t noticed a dramatic difference from the regular version, other than it feels a bit more moisturising. If you suffer from redness, get affected by weather, dryness or marks, and you’re looking for an all-round daily moisturizer – this one pretty much ticks all the boxes. It would be 100% perfect if it had some SPF (this is very important for me) – however, as it’s so lightweight, I just blend it in with some SPF for warmer days!
