I invested in these products from Supergoop! back in May, as I was going on a beach holiday and wanted something small and light. I quickly realised that the serum is better suited for day-to-day use, but the lip balm is great for both beach and city.

The reason why this serum is better for daily and city life, is because it’s very thin and absorbs into your skin instantly. Which I love, and is perfect for living in London. However, I want something thicker and more moisturizing when I’m lying on the beach all day. It has a fresh and clean smell, and I don’t even notice I’ve got in on! In the summer, my skin goes really oily – especially around the t-zones – so this serum is such a nice and lightweight alternative to a cream. However, I do get random dry patches on my face, in which case I switch over to a more oily and thick cream, for more moisture. Other than that, it’s a comfortable, smooth serum, which fights the rays.

Supergoop! Acai Fusion Lip Balm, SPF 30
Acai Fusion. The name itself drew me in! It smells delicious and is super moisturizing and smooth. As I can easily lie out in the sun for 8 hours, my lips get very dry, so I had to keep re-applying the balm. However my lips never got burnt or itchy after the holiday, and they maintained smooth. Great buy, and good investment for a beach, or city holiday.
