Perricone MD ‘No Sun Tanner’$69

In search for a more natural glow for winter, I was very excited to try out this product from my all-time favourite beauty skincare brand, Perricone MD. No point in raving even more about this brand (if you are interested, search for the brand on my blog and you will see why!).

I am slowly making my way through all their lush items. This one – ‘No Sun Tanner’ – is the same concept as my ‘No Concealer Concealer’ and ‘No Foundation Foundation’ – meaning exactly that; it’s subtle, yet effective!

I am no longer a big fan of looking too brown during the winter months and rather embracing a more natural look (to an extent, of course.) With my olive skin, I tend to go slightly grey (ish) in colder weather, so I’ve been after something to give me more of a natural glow with just a hint of colour. Perricone MD’s self-tan did of course, not disappoint. It doesn’t leave streaks, it moisturises (cocoa butter and kukui oil) and doesn’t have that typical ‘fake tan’ smell. In other words, the perfect self-tanner, if you’re after a more subtle look for the winter. It also has caffeine in it – which is meant to firm, tighten, and tone skin – even better!

Please note: this isn’t an instant self-tan, it can take several days to build up a colour, all depending on how dark you want to be! I am starting now on exposed parts of my body, to prep for the party season, and otherwise I have been using it daily blended in with my face moisturiser (although technically it’s meant for the body, it works really well on the face as well).
