Batik

Without blowing my trumpet too much, I’ve always had a real knack for finding great pieces at markets, charity shops or jumble sales. I don’t have patience for a lot of things, but I do have when it comes to clothes and accessories.

I picked up this gorgeous batik silk dress from a local charity shop in Brighton. The dress is made from a chiffon/silk mix and is the perfect shape for a bohemian summer dress. Granted, it’s a few sizes big for me , but it will look great slung loosely over a bikini in the summer, or even teamed with a slim-fit black leather jacket and booties for a more city look.
