Our long-weekend to NYC already seems such a long time ago… On our last day in the city, it was a misty morning, so we popped down to the Hudson River for an early morning walk to take it all in, before all the crowds appeared. There was something so magical and mysterious (and somewhat pure) with that morning. The city became a mere shadow, hiding behind the thick wall of white air… The perfect end to our weekend in New York.
Luckily, it wasn’t too chilly, so I finally got to wear my new silk bomber (which is reversible by the way – how good is that?!). Paired with my “mum” jeans (which despite the name, are surprisingly flattering) and my suede accessories – ready to take in the last few hours of the city.
A pair of metallic shades never go amiss… (even in the fog!).
The changeable New York weather didn’t do much to my hair, so I kept it natural and wavy (albeit slightly frizzy) the entire trip.
New York might seem a long time ago, but it was definitely a trip to remember… Don´t miss my full travel diary from the city here.
