A LIFE OF STYLE

A LIFE OF STYLE

I´ve been travelling a lot these past few months, so any weekends to spare, I love spending them in London with friends or my husband (or sometimes just having a few hours to myself!). The perfect weekend would start with a brunch at my local with a group of friends, then hanging out in my hood, or popping into town for some impromptu shopping, preferably ending up with dinner and drinks in town… So when UGG approached me to be part of their A Life of Style campaign, sharing my go-to looks for every-day dressing whilst wearing my two favourites styles from their new collection (which is amazing by the way) – I jumped at the chance to share how I would incorporate them into a few different weekending looks…

 #1 LOOK:
A DATE WITH THE CITY

Leopard-outfit-1

London, you beauty! I wore this look a few weekends ago for a girl’s day out with my girlfriend up in town – starting with lunch at The Detox Kitchen (one of my go-to’s for healthy grub in town), followed by a little shopping spree down Marylebone High Street…. The perfect Saturday.

Jeans are my go-to for most days; black, grey, blue, white, skinny, cropped, distressed, boyfriend – you name it, I’ve got it. When that said I’m super picky; they have to be comfortable and the right fit for my body type (jeans can look the worst if they’re the wrong style!).

Paired with the the UGG Keile slip-on trainers, which are the perfect casual shoes for the weekend. I love the leopard print, which really add a more statement element to the overall look. Not to mention they’re super comfortable, and so easy to dress up and down…

#2 LOOK:
KEEP IT CASUAL

My weekend wardrobe is more often casual than not, so again – jeans are my core go-to staple when it comes to every-day dressing.

Especially when just having a chilled weekend at home… As we’ve rarely been at home these past few months since moving into our new house; having some downtime in our pad and hanging around our local area, is literally everything. Keeping it casual is key, so I slipped into the UGG Keiles – which are the perfect run-around shoes (when you still want to look good).

#3 LOOK:
BACK TO BLACK

The UGG Keiles don’t just go with denim; I loved pairing them with a classic LBD; making the overall outfit more classic and understated chic.

Another core staple in my wardrobe, is the biker jacket; and is definitely one of the most versatile pieces I own. I love it because it works for just about any occasion and outfit. In this case, it really pulls the whole look together and adds that bit of luxe and edge to the look. In other words – the perfect outfit for a casual date night with my husband at Chiltern Firehouse.

#4 LOOK:
CAMO STYLE

cafe-outfit-blackboots

This camo jacket has been a wardrobe saviour this season; I have literally worn it to death (and it just gets better, and better). Thrown on casually with jeans, dresses, denim shorts… You name it, it works.

I wore this look the other day, on a weekend lunch date with friends at High Road Brasserie in Chiswick, one of our go-to local hangs. It was a late lunch (which I had a suspicion might turn into dinner and drinks), so I paired my casual camo jacket and jeans, with the ultra chic UGG Cobie boots – which just happen to be the perfect black booties for every-day style.

#5 LOOK:
SUNDAY SHOPPING

streetstyle-blackboots-5

Who else lives for your Sunday? I know I do. Sure, Saturday is the best, too – but there’s just something so relaxing about a Sunday. So I often take this opportunity popping into town my favourite shops for a spot of shopping, followed by a late Sunday lunch.

Jeans have definitely been a red thread throughout this blog post – and Sunday is no exception. But whilst I too often would be more than happy just wearing my PJ’s all day – when I first pop into town, I like to make an effort. I wore this look a while back hanging in my old hood around Notting Hill, lunching at Granger & Co. and shopping on Westbourne Grove (they have the best brands & boutiques).

Fortunaely, the UGG Cobie are super comfortable – and the perfect classic boots to complement this day-time look with skinny jeans and a silk bomber.
