Ok, I shouldn’t really admit this, but these jeans from Noisy may haven’t left my sight since last weekend. They are the PERFECT boyfriend jeans. Great fit, length, shape (higher waist, which I love), comfy (not too thick – or thin denim), just – well, perfect. I have been trying to ignore all this talk about the skinny jeans being ‘out’ and the boyfriend jeans being ‘in’ (not that I ever tend to follow trend directions anyways, they are far too annoying) – as you know, I love my skinnes, as they work really well for my shape – however, I think I’m now converted! I have worn these casual over the weekend, to work meetings in heels, combined with leather and jewels, with sandals and a silk shirt – yes, just about everything.
It´s the official month of fashion week´s across the world, so in celebration of that, I´ve rounded up my personal top buys and key essentials to invest in this month (if you happen to be going, or just need some wardrobe inspo!). Continue Reading
I know, I know – a lot of jewellery posts at the moment – I am just obsessed (always have been!). As I am such a big fan of both gold and silver – I love mixing all my precious bits together. I also love discovering new brands – Azuni being the most recent designer on my radar.
Based in London, Azuni’s range is a broad collection of eclectic and individual styles, with a lot of focus on texture, engraving, beading and the use of semi precious stones – as well more clean gold and silver styles. I fell for these gorgeous drop earrings and studded mini signet ring; which look super chic alongside my existing (and growing) ring collection.
I really like the combination of a bright check shirt together with a more feminine skirt and wool blazer. Adding strong statement accessories such as my trusted YSL and metal heel booties pulls the look together – making this is the perfect work-to-party outfit.
Coat: Selected Femme (similar here on sale) / Jumper: Zara (similar here) / Jeans: Paul’s Boutique / Shoes: Converse / Bag: YSL / Jumper: Zara
A very typical winter outfit for me, always playing on contrasts, such as an ultra-glam faux fur, played down with some casual trainers and skinny jeans.
Cape: Jil Sander (similar here) / Jeans: Paul’s Boutique / Jumper: Vero Moda / Boots: Acne / Watch: Michael Kors
A simple, clean and understated all-black outfit, together with a brighter statement sweat jumper, to add a bit of colour. Probably not my most exciting outfit, but one I would like to highlight, as it’s something I feel comfortable and chic in (which is the most important element to me when dressing!).
Shirt: Selected Femme (similar here) / Skirt: Zara (similar here) / Cape: Jil Sander (similar here) / Bag: Mulberry (similar here on sale) / Tights: Falke / Boots: Acne / Watch: Michael Kors
Another outfit with my favoruite cape (such a versatile and elegant piece) – with the basis of the outfit being all-black, mixing clashing prints with my beloved tweed Mulberry and an animal print shirt. The key here is keeping the tones similar when mixing patterns.
Jacket: Selected Femme (similar here on sale) / Jumper: Vero Moda / Jeans: Noisy may (on sale now) / Shoes: Repetto / Bag: Mulberry (similar here on sale) / Sunglasses: D&G
I LOVED this outfit. There was so many cute summer outfits from my trip to Croatia to choose from, but I ended up selecting this one from May in London, as it’s an outfit I wore a lot this month – with my fave boyfriend jeans, a statement sweater and a fitted leather jacket (pulling the outfit together). I’m sporting my shorter hair-do here as well!
Jeans: Zara / Jacket: Vero Moda Very (similar here on sale) / Top: Zara / Sunglasses: D&G (similar here) / Loafers: & Other Stories (similar here)
As you might have noticed, I was pretty much obsessed with my various boyfriend jeans styles all spring and summer (the skinny jeans were firmly packed away for several months) – the key is keeping the top part more feminine and fitted, such as a silk top and leather jacket. Although it looks great wearing heels as well (to balance out the baggy shape), I still loved wearing flats with them during the day!
This dress. I don’t tend to wear dresses that often, but I just love this colour, paisley print and boxy shape of this one! I wore it a lot during the summer, and this outfit might be my fave combination – with my fringe booties and a casual khaki jacket!
Coat: Zara (similar here on sale now) / Jeans: Noisy may (on sale now) / Shoes: Dries van Noten (similar here) / Sunglasses: YSL
This coat! Perfection. One of my most complimented pieces ever. The cocoon shape is perfect and super flattering – I loved clashing this coat with colours, but I also wore it really simply; with my boyfriend jeans (again) and minimalistic nude heels. Can’t beat clean lines!
There were SO many fun L.A outfits I wanted to include, but again, this is the one that’s most reflects my style: a double denim combo with suede loafers and an oversized clutch!
Blazer: Vintage / Top: & other stories / Pants: Zara / Heels: Zara / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
You just can’t go wrong with an all-black outfit! I love this power blazer, with it’s strong shoulders and double-breasted shape – it’s important to keep the rest of the outfit fitted and feminine, such as these skinny leather pants and heels (also the best way to elongate your legs).
Cardigan: Urban Outfitters / Top: & other stories / Pants: Zara / Heels: Zara / Clutch: Pieces / Sunglasses: D&G (similar here)
Another pretty clean outfit – tied up with the statement tartan jumper. I love the colour combination and mixture of textures (heavy knit with smooth leather).
I love the complexity and simplicity of this outfit; the colourful prints and material combinations, together with the simple elements with it just being a knit and a skirt.
And there you have it – my favourite outfit from each month this year! There were many (many) looks to choose from – some of these might not be the most groundbreaking ones, but the outfits that most reflect my style and holds good memories from 2013. Key pieces are the ones that really pull my outfits together: my tweed Mulberry, YSL tote bag, various sunglasses, leather pants/jackets and my boyfriend jeans!
Hope you’ve all had and are having a lovely Christmas wherever you are! I am enjoying my time in Norway – which is a long way from my outfit here; wearing my new boyfriend jeans from Noisy may. I am sure you remember the light blue versions I wore throughout all spring and summer – these are perfect for the winter, and will no doubt be a firm wardrobe staple!
Necklaces: Bijoux by Desi F / Jacket: Y.A.S (not in stores yet) / Jeans: Noisy may (on sale now!) / T-shirt: & Other Stories / Ballerinas: Repetto
Dainty and precious. Two words to sum up my latest neck additions; this stunning 14K goldfilled initial necklace (£14.68) and this silver/gold sideways cross necklace (£19.78). Combined, or on it’s own – they are equally as stunning. I have totally gone away from my days of big neck bling – to me it’s all about small, minimal and clean. LOVE.
Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend so far! I have done exactly what I intended; relaxing, strolling around our neighbourhood with our French Bulldog, cooking, baking and working on our wedding plans(exciting!).
I’m kind of obsessed with my necklaces (my gold ones from Bijoux by Desi F never leave my sight, basically). I layer them (getting them in the perfect lengths to compliment the overall look) or wear them alone. My last one could look cute layered, but I kind of prefer it on it’s own; with a silver key and heart on a dainty gold chain – it’s such a simple, yet stunning statement piece.
I’ve just bought a bulk of pieces from the brand (to save on the U.S postage!) – will show you the rest in the coming weeks.
I have got some seriously fab new loafers from Moda in Pelle. Renowned for their high quality detailing’s and leather; these loafers (or slippers, if you like), are exactly what I’ve been after for so long. With black velvet, gold stitched emblem and sturdy leather soles; they are the perfect flats for autumn!
I can’t wait to bring these with me to Rome this weekend – where I am going, thanks to Moda in Pelle (along with more fabulous footwear), to capture the city and it’s detail, on their ‘It’s All in the Detail’ campaign.

My hair has been through quite an ordeal since my last visit to Sassoon Salonsin the beginning of May; I have travelled a lot, especially to hot and humid climates, as well as big cities (not exactly a good combo for healthy and glossy hair).
The lovely people at Sassoon Covent Garden managed to fit me in before jetting off to L.A last week – for a cut and toner – the perfect summer hair re-fresh. I initially wanted to go blonder – but combined with too little time, and being worried of how ridiculously dry my hair was – I was sensible (for now), simply opting for an all-over toner in a soft ‘biscuit’ coloured tone. Toner’s are great to add shine and reviving your hair. Although I was pretty happy with my original colour, it was dry and brittle and needed intense nourishment. I also wanted bit of a change, softening the ‘bleach blonde’ shades (sun overload). This toner certainly did the trick, giving my hair a warm and rich caramel colour. Needless to say – a proper chop was in order; I even opted for a long fringe, which I’ve been wanting for ages!
I am so happy with with the colour, shine and cut. Thank you to the team at Sassoon Salon Covent Garden for having me, and for making my hair so fabulous throughout my holiday!
Now – back to London in a few hours! See you on the other side.
Yet another great buy from Urban Outfitters(this is what happens when the store is less than 5 minutes away from my new office!).
I love a good statement shirt. This one – with the mix of polka dots and paisley – is super chic and in my opinion, and pretty timeless, with it’s plain shape and neutral colours. I’ve paired the shirt with my casual and trusted boyfriend jeans (they literally don´t leave my sight) – to balance out the overall look, maintaing the focus on the shirt. Love it!
You just can’t beat simple and casual styles. A perfect example being my new utility jacket from Zara – it’s timeless, and I love the soft beige, in contrast to my other khaki green versions. Worn with my favourite boyfriend jeans and snakeskin heels – not to forget my new Prada sunnies – it’s clean and unfuzzy, just they way I like it! I especially love the feminine fit, with cropped sleeves and a loose swing element on the lower half.
Coat: Zara (£39.99 – reduced from £89.99) / Jeans: Noisy may / T-shirt: Gap / Sunglasses: YSL / Shoes: Dries Van Noten / Necklaces: Bijoux by Desi F
I´m in love my new jacket from Zara – I have been lusting after this coat all season, so was pretty happy with myself when I found it in the sale at this bargain price. It’s cocoon shaped – which I adore – made from thick cotton. It’s the perfect statement coat, which I will no doubt be wearing with just about any outfit going.
Sorry I disappeared for a few days – Ive been in HOT Berlin (it´s a heatwave here), at the fashion trade show Bread & Butter. Last time I came, there was a snow blizzard, and I nearly got stranded – so a very nice contrast this season!
The first night we all ventured out to a restaurant called Pan Asia – and I can safely say, I ate some of the best sushi I have ever tasted (and that is a big statement coming from a sushi-holic). Granted, it took about 3 hours to arrive, and I was tucking into it at 11pm – it was so worth the wait (just about). Last night, we went to Soho House Berlin for dinner and drinks – love this place!
Next stop is Oslo, to spend time with my family and friends! Im not disappearing again though – I have some fab new bits to show you! Watch this space.

After literally living in my favourite boyfriend jeans from Noisy may, I thought I’d hunt down an alternative (to keep my others a rest, and wash!). Zara is always my go-to for anything on-trend, so there’s was no surprise I found several boyfriend styles available. I tried around five different styles, and these were the only ones suitable; with the perfect waist length (not too short), nice colour wash and ripped etails. I made sure I bought these ones a bit tighter than normal, as my others expanded so much – and so far, so good! They’ve kept their fit, and will be the perfect alternative to my others for the season. I have to say, once you’ve fallen for the boyfriend style – it’s hard to go back to the skinny style!
Who doesn”t love a bit of neon, to brighten up this horrible London (winter in June) weather!?
Other things brightening up my day? These fab new booties from Urban Outfitters; they’re the perfect height for me – in other words, the perfect “running around” boots. I particularly like the western element with the silver buckles, making them that bit more special than just another beige suede bootie.
The only downfall with these beauties, is the unpredictable London weather. They didn´t look so great after wearing them in rain yesterday! When that said; they have them in black here, which I´ve already clicked home (I just couldn´t resist).

Ok, I admit – I have a massive addiction to ALL embroidered things (basically, anything remotely bohemian, summery and romantic). I guess, I am a big fan of summer clothes in general – they make me happy. Like now, when the heat has finally hit London, and I’m enjoying running around in my favourite boyfriend jeans, snakeskin heels, and this amazing loose fitted shirt.
