A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE (NOW THAT I’M A MUM)

August 14, 2018

I think this might be my most requested post (ever), so it’s about time I shared it with you guys! Albeit, a day in my life right now, is quite radically different from a few years ago… A lot changes when you get a baby. I mean, EVERYTHING changes. Where even the smallest, simplest and dullest task, like going to the post office, needs to be planned and prepared for. Sound crazy? Fellow mum’s: if you know, you know! Anyways, I have tried my best to stick to structure and some kind of routine in my days, a long with some work here and there (and running errands and popping to the gym, when time allows it). But as you can see, on a day-today basis, it all pretty much revolves around Rio’s schedule (which I obviously wouldn’t change for the world), and although no day is ever the same, from Monday to Friday, it pretty much looks like the below. So here goes – a typical day in my new life as a mama!

MY 10 FAVOURITE SPOTS IN IBIZA

August 8, 2018
Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

Ibiza is one of my favourite places in Europe. I first went when I was a lot younger (and definitely experienced a very different side to the island, in not the best of ways). Since going a few times in the recent years; last year when I was pregnant, and this year with Rio and my family, I have fallen in love with the place and seen a completely different side to it – having so many amazing experiences, from food, shopping, ultimate relaxation, and discovering some real magical spots (not to mention how family friendly it is!). Here are 10 of my favourite places on the white isle…   Continue Reading

MUMMY DIARIES: THE 8/9 MONTH UPDATE

July 30, 2018
Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

A lot has happened in these last two months, so much so, that I simply didn’t have the time to write Rio’s 8-month update several weeks ago, so I decided to compile month 8 and 9 together. And boy, has there been some major developments during this time, with Rio advancing in leaps and bounds… He can now crawl, pull himself up and stand, he claps, waves, gives kisses (kind of), has nearly 6 teeth, and is a little chatter box (not talking yet, of course, just a lot of ‘baby talking’!). As for me, I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of motherhood and have definitely become more relaxed, which has a lot to do with several recent ‘out of routine’ holidays! I’m generally feeling better and getting stronger, although I’ve still got a few issues which I’m working on getting sorted – but all in all, things are pretty good! Read on for all of our updates, developments and general motherhood bits and bobs…  Continue Reading

THE SPF & TANNING PRODUCTS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT

July 3, 2018
tanning (1 of 5)

Long gone are the days when I was living in Australia and Barcelona, and SPF was not really a priority… A far cry from today, when I don’t even leave the house without SPF on my face (even during winter!). I also used to be the biggest sun worshiper, but I now prefer the shade under a big san hat (hello pigmentation and wrinkles), and although I tan really easily, I’ve also picked out some of my go-to maintenance products, to keep that tan nice and topped up all summer long… So check out this post if you: A) Care about your skin and want to protect it, or B) Care about your skin, want to protect it, but not too keen on the sun/sun damage, so want some fake glow instead!  Continue Reading
